Ms. Whitney's "Too Tough to Love" is a brilliant, fast pace journey, through a twenty year intense, emotional and above all real love affair with Johnny Ramone. Cynthia writes with a New York Edge and self deprecating sense of humor, that leaves the reader with a picture of the "times" and "places" of not only of a physical reality of sex, drugs and Rock and Roll, but a Historical perspective of the era and above all a human-spiritul/psychological depiction of an incredible relationship that shaped a young woman's life. This is a must read, and I would love to spend night of libations with Ms. Whitney or a lifetime of discovery.
